Confidentiality and post termination obligations


Restrictive covenants, confidentiality provisions and other post termination obligations are often incorporated within contracts by employers to prevent their employees from competing with or damaging the business when they leave. However, certain restrictions are only legally enforceable if they go no further than is necessary to protect the employer’s legitimate business interests.
