Advice on making a flexible working request

There is a common misconception that employees can only apply for flexible working if they have a child or they are a carer, but this is wrong.  

Employees have the right to make a flexible working request for any reason from day one of their employment.

If you wish to make a request for flexible working we can advise on the procedure that you should follow and how best to present your case.

We can also provide assistance if you feel that your employer has unreasonably refused your request, or if you feel that you have been discriminated against in the process.
